WHAT IS THE FM Multi Carrier?

FM Multi Carrier is a remote controlled, tracked mulcher/slasher.

It can be fitted with a variety of different cutting heads, and is perfect for carrying out maintenance of green areas, roadsides and highways, particularly in inconvenient or dangerous to reach places.

Thanks to the extendable undercarriage tracks and light weight, its awesome grip on the terrain allows it to tackle extremely steep gradients with ease, uphill, downhill and diagonally – resulting in a safe job executed with speed and precision.

WHAT SAFETY FEATURES DOES IT HAVE?

FM Multi Carrier is designed to do unsafe jobs, safely. It incorporates safety features such as:

Automatic braking when driving downhill
Remote control disconnection stop
Red stop switches on both the remote and the machine
Loud warning horn sounds when the mower starts and stops
Battery isolation switch
High visibility LED flashing lights
High visibility paint finish

WHAT SLOPES WILL IT WORK ON?

The extendable undercarriage tracks and low centre of gravity mean the FM Multi Carrier can work on slopes up to 60 degrees – in all angles!

The engine is designed to run smoothly at these angles and it also incorporates am automatic braking system that keeps it from slipping on steep slopes.

HOW FAR AWAY CAN I CONTROL IT?

The FM Multi Carrier remote will work up to 350 meters. 100 meters recommended.

If the machine loses connection, it will automatically stop its operation, and await reconnection.

IS IT SAFER THAN A HUMAN OPERATOR?

Yes! The FM Multi Carrier is designed to go up slopes that human operated mowers cannot access, and work in environments that it is not safe for humans to be in (ie; next to motorways, runways etc)

CAN I USE IT NEAR ROADS?

Yes! The remote control operation means the machine can be operated from the safety of a vehicle, meaning no need for costly and complicated traffic control on busy roads.

Added to this the mowing heads are fully enclosed, meaning minimal discharge of debris.

WHAT SORT OF MATERIAL CAN IT CUT?

Almost anything! With the right attachment, FM Multi Carrier can cut up to 200mm. this makes it perfect for clearing thick noxious weeds, and aggressive regrowth.

We have attachments that can cut trees, thick brush, saplings and regrowth, noxious weeds, stumps, trenches, clear snow and spray plants.

CAN IT BE USED WITH ATTACHMENTS?

Yes! The machine come standard fitted with a flail head and can be fitted with many attachments.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A REMOTE FAILURE?

If for some reason a wireless control system fails, the machine can be controlled via a USB cable from the remote.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE BATTERY GOES FLAT?

The is always 1 spare battery, constantly charging on the machine.

The battery can be quickly swapped, and the old on placed immediately back on charge.

IS THERE AN EMERGENCY STOP IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG?

Yes! There is a red emergency stop switch on both the machine and the remote control, for maximum safety.

HOW DO I KNOW IF THE BATTERY IS GOING FLAT?

The Machine has a digital fuel gauge installed, and also sends a low fuel signal which is displayed on the remote.

The horn will also sound automatically to notify the operator.

WHAT ARE THE SERVICE INTERVALS?

We recommend a first service at 50 hours, and additional services every 250 hours after that.

With heavy use, more frequent servicing may be needed.
